GRAMMAR – Introduction, Consonants & Vowels

១- វេយ្យាករណ៍ខ្មែរជាក្បួនបង្រៀនវិធីអក្ខរះ ដើម្បីនិយាយត្រឹមត្រូវ សរសេរត្រឹមត្រូវ ក្នុងភាសាខ្មែរ។ ក្បួនវេយ្យាករណ៍ប្រារព្ធរៀបឡើងតាំងពីព្យញ្ញនះ ទៅស្រះ។ ក្ឞួនសរសេរ ឬអក្សរ ឬវណ្ណះ មានពីរយ៉ាងគឺះ ស្រះ ឬសរះ នឹងព្យញ្ញនះ។ ស្រះមានពីរពួកគឺះ ស្រះពេញតួ នឹងស្រះនិស្ស័យ។
1) Khmer grammar is the systematic of written symbols to provide proper speech and writing in the Khmer language. Systematically, Khmer grammar has well arranged starting from consonants to vowels. Written symbols or alphabets or classifications, can be separated into two categories. They are “consonants” and “vowels”.
ស្រះពេញតួរ (Independent vowels) មាន១៥ គឺះ
អ អា ឥ ឦ ឧ ឩ ឪ ឫ ឬ ឭ ឮ ឯ ឰ ឱ ឳ។
ស្រះនិស្ស័យ (Vowels) មាន ១៥ តួរគឺះ
| ា ិ ី ឹ ឺ ុ ូ ួ ើ ឿ ៀ េ ែ ៃ
ោ ៅ ុំ ំ ាំ ះ េះ ុះ (ិះ) ោះ។
ព្យញ្ញនះ (consonants) មាន៣៣តួគឺះ
ក ខ គ ឃ ង ច ឆ ជ ឈ ញ ដ ឋ ឌ ឍ ណ ត ថ ទ
ធ ន ប ផ ព ភ ម យ រ ល វ ស ហ ឡ អ។
ព្យញ្ននះគឺមានជើង គឺហៅថា ជើងព្យញ្ជនះ (Subscript consonant symbols) ។ មានតែជើង ឡ គឺខ្ចីជើង ល ។
្ក ្ខ ្គ ្ឃ ្ង ្ច ្ឆ ្ជ ្ឈ ្ញ ្ដ ្ឋ ្ឌ ្ឍ ្ណ ្ត្ថ ្ទ ្ធ
្ន ្ប ្ផ ្ព ្ភ ្ម ្យ ្រ ្ល ្វ ្ស ្ហ ្ល ្អ ។
Subscript consonant symbols/ជើងនៃព្យញ្ជនះ ទាំងអស់មាន៣៣ លើកលែងតែ “ឡ” មួយ ដែលគ្មានជើង នៅពេលជើង “្ល” ត្រូវយកមកតំណាងជើង “្ប” ដូច្នេះ អក្សរ “ល” ដើរតួជាព្យញ្ជនះនៃជើង ្ប… ឡ has no subscript. The sound “L” when second in a cluster is represented by ្ល , the subscript of ល ។
(On this chart each subscript symbol is written in conjunction with its corresponding superscript symbol/ជើងតម្រួត to show which consonant it represents and to show the spatial relationship with the symbol representing the cluster-initial consonant. See chart above for each pronunciation of those clusters.
